Greenwich Marketing Firm Lends Expertise With Pro Bono Work
Karen Morstad & Associates Helps Non-Profit Organizations
GREENWICH, CT (November 2008) – Greenwich-based marketing firm, Karen Morstad & Associates (KM&A), has launched websites on behalf of two non-profit charities as part of each organization's efforts to promote its cause. The Craig D. Tifford Foundation is a national organization founded by Craig Tifford to raise money for research and provide education and support for men with testicular cancer. The Byram Archibald Neighborhood Center (BANC) in the Byram area of Greenwich, CT provides children with a safe, educational and structured environment for sports and recreation.
"As part of our philanthropic responsibility to help non-profit organizations in our area and across the country help preserve their communities and promote their causes, we established 'KM&A Gives Back.' Each quarter, KM&A selects a non-profit organization that may not have the budget or resources to accomplish the marketing, public relations or advertising they need to deliver their message. Our goal in pro bono consulting is to make a significant team investment on important social issues, as represented by these two organizations," said President and Founder Karen Morstad of KM&A.
KM&A worked with the Craig D. Tifford Foundation on its website, marketing and public relations campaign. "Karen Morstad and her team went to great lengths to create a new, visually inviting and informative website, and also helped us promote our annual benefit. We are thrilled with the difference KM&A has made to our foundation," said Gail Tifford, co-founder and board member of the Craig D. Tifford Foundation.
KM&A also produced and launched the BANC's website to help create awareness for this important children's resource within the community. "The BANC center has been part of our community for more than 30 years. We have an amazing venue where children of all ages can partake in various activities ranging from football to cheerleading, and summer camps to study groups. The KM&A team gave us the chance to promote the BANC's programs to the families and children in Byram and Greenwich on an entirely new platform," said Harry Catanzaro, president of the board of BANC.
